Personal Background- Alessio Albi was born in Perugia, Italy on April 15th, 1986. He grew up fascinated by nature, visual arts, and science. He started taking photos at the age of 24 coming from a big interest in drawing and painting. When he started to take photos he was just experimenting and doing it for fun. He was trying many types of photography from street art photography all the way to portraits for 2 years. In 2012 he began focusing on mainly portrait photography. He graduated college with an academical degree in Medical Biotechnologies. He is now a nutrition, but he changed his career and is now a professional photographer too. When his photography career started many of his shoots expressed the mood he was feeling in his life at the time (which in his case, bad). But, now he tries to express the beauty in women and nature. He says that he likes to focus on natural places and unique faces, so he prefers girls that don't need makeup and that have aspects that draw attention to their faces like freckles.
Style- Alessio Albi has a unique sense of style. He takes portraits of people with special features about them that make them stand out. For instance, many of his photos are of women with freckles. The freckles are all over their face and this makes them very unique. When he takes his portraits he tries to incorporate feeling and mood.
Philosophy- Alessio started doing photos because he was interested in art and painting and his friend was into photography and he introduced him to it. As I said before, he takes photos of women. He likes when their faces aren't common and they have features that makes them stand out like freckles and eyes. His photos are so beautiful and to e they show that everyone is beautiful. When he was interviewed and asked how he gets his models, he said that some of them are just normal girls. This is really inspiring and shows that every one is pretty. You don't have to have a perfect clear face, or nice shaped lips to be pretty. In my opinion he was trying to show that every girl is beautiful and what you think may make you different is actually really pretty.
Influence- This photographer has influenced my life by a few ways. He is now a professional photographer and at the beginning of his adulthood he didn't even think about doing photography. He changed careers after college and is very successful. Also, it is harder to make a living with jobs in the arts. They do not have a steady pay and don't know if they can make a living with this job. Also, he spends a lot of time trying to find the perfect models, landscapes, and more.

Compare and Contrast- In the top photo Alessio had a model who was looking over her shoulder and had a stern look on her face. Summer, who I had model for me was wearing a white shirt too looked over her shoulder. It does not look exactly like his but they book they the same expression on their face. In the 2nd photo he had a girl who looked confused. She had her hands over her face. When I tried to recreate the photo it was hard. The girl has her hands blurred and it was hard to capture that. Overall they both have the same looks and they have their hands covering their faces. In the 3rd photo he has a girl who has her hand touching her cheek. She is standing in front of her window and looking at the camera dramatically. When I took my photo like this I took it in front of a window too but it doesn't have the same special light effects from the shades.
Artist Statement- In the 3rd photo it has patterns and lines from the shades. It makes you look at the lines on her face and shows you that she is looking out her window. Rule of thirds is when you split the photo into three sections vertically and horizontally. For the 2nd photo especially she is the center of attention and in the box created by the rule of thirds. Also the color of the 2nd one is cool because when it blurs it has a yellowish color.
